Q: Who is WellyCard?

A: We are a bunch of people who are super-passionate about helping one another get access to health and wellbeing services, after all we know how expensive these services can be!

We believe in consciously gifting any time of year, whether it be when a friend is in need or for Christmas and birthdays.

Q: What do we do at WellyCard?

A: We provide a digital gift card service that can be redeemable at 1000s of services 60+ Cities Globally-wide. Whether you're doing psychology sessions, need to see a GP, want to try reiki or kinesiology, or perhaps want help paying for your yoga subscription, a WellyCard card can help pay for your fees.

Q: What is Identification, Movement and Maintenance?

A: We believe that the purpose and methodology used for each of the services we represent should be more common knowledge.

We've created a recommended way to use these services: -

  1. Identification services:

    These services include talk therapy, psychology, councillors and GPs. They help us figure out what has happened to us, what our current state is as a result and sometimes result in a diagnosis.

  2. Movement services:

    These services include reiki, acupuncture, kinesiology and psychotherapy. These services are designed to help us move the energy related to the problem we've identified. This allows for us to be clearer in mind, body and spirit and for new, healthier behaviours to be consolidated.

  3. Maintenance services:

    These services include the gym, pilates, yoga and martial arts. These services are designed to continually help us clear the body, mind and spirit on a daily basis. Every day presents difficulties, so it's important to not let these difficulties stack up over time.

Q: Where can I use my WellyCard gift card?

A: WellyCard gift cards can be used with any Health and Wellness provider that accepts Mastercard and is in one of the following categories: -

Q: What is a virtual prepaid Mastercard?

A: A virtual prepaid Mastercard is just like a regular Mastercard - only without the plastic. Instead of being sent a physical card in the mail a digital card is sent to you or your customer via SMS and then activated using the Vault app. Once activated, the card can be added to a phone’s digital wallet (e.g. Apple Pay or Samsung Pay) and used anywhere that accepts contactless payment.

Q: Can I use my WellyCard gift card in stores?

A: You can use your WellyCard gift card in store. However, the merchant must accept contactless payments.

Q: Can I use my WellyCard gift card to withdraw cash?

A: No, you cannot use your WellyCard gift card to withdraw cash.

Q: Can you shop online using a WellyCard gift card?

A: Yes. You can use the details on your card to make purchases through online payment portals.

Q: Are WellyCard gift cards accepted by most online retailers?

A: Yes. WellyCard gift cards are accepted anywhere that regular Mastercards are.

Q: How can I check my card balance?

A: You can do this at any time using the Vault Payment app on your phone that you first used when setting up your WellyCard card.

Q: Can I use this card overseas?

A: WellyCard is currently only available in 60+ Cities Globally. However, we have ambitious plans as a business to expand internationally so watch this space.

Payment and Purchases

Q: How to use WellyCard?

A: When gifting to someone, you have the option of personalising the gift or gifting anonymously. This means that the receiver can use their card anonymously and securely. No one needs to know how you redeem the card or what service you choose to use the card on.

In saying this, we believe the WellyCard service can help create conversations about health and wellness and we advocate everyone to learn from one another's experiences using these services.

Q: Why is there a service fee?

A: As there is a lot of work happening behind the scenes, there is a service fee to cover the costs of issuing the WellyCard card.

Q: How do I get a receipt?

A: Upon completion of your purchase you will be emailed a receipt for the transaction. It comes from Stripe (our payment processor), be sure to check your spam folder just in case it accidentally got mislabeled. If you've lost it, that's OK, these things happen. Just contact us at hello@wellycard and we can resend it for you.

Q: What happens if I don't use the full amount in one transaction?

A: The remainder of the balance will stay on the card for future purchases.

Q: Can I buy a WellyCard card directly from a service?

A: WellyCard is an online store. As our product grows, we will explore other options for our users.

Q: When does my WellyCard card expire?

A: The expiry date shown on the front of the Card. Upon expiry, the remaining available balance is forfeited.

Q: What do I do if I spelt an email or phone number wrong?

Q: My friend doesnt have a smartphone that supports digital cards? How can I send them a WellyCard Card?

A: At the moment WellyCard is only a digital gift card, we are working to expand our card options as the business grows.

Q: I accidentally deleted the email or text, how can I reissue my card?

A: Reach out to us at hello@wellycard.com

Q: Do you have physical cards?

A: At the moment WellyCard is only a digital gift card, we are working to expand our card options as the business grows.

Q: Can my card be used in person and online?

A: Yes, your WellyCard card can be used in person via services that accept card payments. For retailers who accept online payments, WellyCard can be used online. (Please note, not all online service providers will accept all cards, please check the categories below.)

Q: Can I add more value to my card?

A: WellyCard is a one time card at the moment, as we expand our products, we will be looking into reloadable cards.

Q: What if my purchase exceeds the card's value?

A: You can use your WellyCard card towards the service payments. A WellyCard Card can only be used for online purchases where Mastercard is accepted. If your online service provider accepts split transactions, you can use your Virtual Mastercard and other chosen payment method for your purchase. Unfortunately, most online merchants do not accept split payments.

Q: How many cards can I buy in one purchase?

A: At the moment, you can only purchase one gift card at a time.

Q: If a merchant asks 'Credit or Cheque or Savings?'

A: Select credit. Your card will be issued with a pin to use, check it out on the Vault app.
